Reserve Staff Openings

BPS has an immediate need for reserve staff to assist in classrooms.

Reserve Teacher

If you hold a bachelor’s degree, you are eligible to apply for a Minnesota short-call sub license. Lesson plans are provided; pay starts at $200 per day. License and background check/fingerprint fees are approximately $145.

Classroom Para

A paraprofessional substitute, often called a "para sub," assists teachers and supports students in a school setting. Their duties may include helping with classroom management, providing one-on-one or small group instruction, supporting students with special needs, and aiding in daily classroom activities. They may also assist with supervising students during breaks, and help ensure the classroom environment is conducive to learning. Their goal is to support both teachers and students to maintain a productive and positive learning experience. This role requires a high school diploma.
